Who we are

Energy Transition Project Development and Delivery with focus on green hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia solutions

Madoqua is a Luso-Dutch company focused on industrial transformation by developing Power-2-X technology based decarbonisation projects. Environmental sustainability is the core of our development mindset.

Founded in 2016, Madoqua is a developer and operator of projects that harness renewable energy and produce green chemicals and gases, leveraging on P2X solutions to achieve sector coupling by utilising grid flexibility to develop green H2 production facilities followed by cost-efficient ammonia and methanol production. The company manages the full project life cycle i.e. feasibility, funding, Front-End Engineering Design (“FEED”), detail design, procurement, project / construction management and (start-up) operations.

Currently we are developing a portfolio of energy transition projects incl. a synfuels / decarbonisation project in Pataias, and a green ammonia project in Sines, both in Portugal, as well as the solar and wind assets.
